Our Favourite Piano Stories

Piano Moves  has been moving pianos for almost 35 years – so you can imagine the piano stories we’ve heard, the events we’ve been involved in and the customers we’ve worked with. We’ve had the pleasure of moving some pianos multiple times, and we regularly hear ‘I would only trust Piano Moves to move my piano’.

We’ve loved every piano story – from the piano passed down through generations of the same musical family, to the one left dormant until someone special came along to bring it back to life, to the beautiful handcrafted piano owned by some of Australia’s leading musicians,  the many which have had lived all across Australia and overseas, and the ones we’ve needed a crane or a shoe horn to put into place.

We’ve provided, transported pianos and tuned for events like ‘Play Me, I’m Yours‘ and Guide Dogs QLD ‘Dining in the Dark‘ and moved pianos in and out in bulk for conventions and exhibitions.  It’s always fascinating – and we love to share!
